concrete base

I'm slowly rebuilding a secondhand conervatory, and now need to concrete the base, it will have a dwarf wall.

How thick for the concrete? will 4" do ? I have a lot of used pavings to get rid of, can i concrete on top off?

Would this cause me any future problems? thanks.

are you asking about the foundations or the floor slab?

a dwarf wall could probably sit on a 150mm foundation if ground conditions allow.

a floor slab should be 100mm (min) thick.
