I recently had a corgi registered plumber come to my house and say that it is not legal to put gas pipes under concrete.. and that in the case of a fire my insurance would not cover me. is this true? through my own research i've read that as long as the gas pipe is in an appropriate conduit it is fine. could anyone give me more info on this? what should i do?

Simply, as long as the pipe is protected from corrosion and not too close to the surface then its permissable ( although not ideal ! ).
