Hi
I'm putting down a loose stone driveway, 150mm of MOT then 50mm of 20mm top stones, my question is, are the proportions OK and should I put down a weed supressing cover before the MOT or is this overkill.

50mm depth of loose gravel is quite a lot. See how it feels when you put it down as it does depend on the sizes and shapes but with that depth you may find your swimming in it a bit.
