White bricks

Hello,

Long time no posts....

I have noticed I have a few white bricks on the front of my house. There is a pattern as they all seem to be in a vertical line.

Our house is a mid terrace (1900's) and the front is newish about 10/15 years old.

Is there anything to worry about?

Its probably just efflouresence, does it seem slightly powedery when dry? Do not try to wash it off it will make it worse. Brush it off with a stiff brush.

Has water been dripping in this one place to cause this line of efflorescence?

Normally you get this from a gutter or window cill - if not since you've been there it could have been soaked in this location when built.
