I am wanting to build a detached garage into a sloping garden but find that my planned base level would be 6 inches above a 4 inch field drain pipe which I found runs across my garden. What can I do?

Im not a builder, but my extension we bridged a drain with a lentil (lentel)?

Thicken the slab to form a beam which goes down the drain invert level, or put some mesh in the slab to (hopefully) spread the load tot he adjacent ground.

Put some compressible material above the pipe too

Thanks I did think of putting steel rods or the sort in. What kind of place do I buy the mesh from?
