Re-pointing slabs

Any good advice out there for re-pointing Yorkstone effect slabs/ Have in mind to 'dry grout' but not sure of mix, and whether or not it leaves a durable finish. Also a brief technique from someone whose tried it would be useful.

Personally I wouldn't repoint using a dry mix and I'm sure any customer of mine wouldn't want to see this being done.

Use a 'just wet enough' mix of mortar so it clumps together when you squeeze it in your hand but not wet enough to stain the faces of the slabs.

quite agree. Very easy to push it firmly into the joints with a nice long length of feather edge before you strike it off with the finish you want
