Which side of glass ?

I bought one of these internal doors:

The door goes on a dark corridor where on the other side is a bedroom where the light comes in. I'm wondering as the glass is slightly raised blur on one side, does the smooth side of the glass goes on the corridor side and the slightly raised inside the bedroom so that the light comes through the panel and exits on the smooth side ?

Makes sense ?

Not really no, are you saying that you think the amount of light transmitted will depend on which way round the glass is

It doesn't have any functional purpose....just cosmetic issue really. I just thought that as the corridor is usually dark it would be probably better placing the smooth side of the glass on the corridor side so that the light from the bedroom comes out of a smooth glass surface.

It's really trivial ...I've been bothering about details that don't really make that much difference !

I would have thought the side which looks best should go to the passage side.
