Just a giggle this one!
I have safely and successfully fitted my sockets and appliances in my kitchen and checked everything so don't be alarmed!
Upon coming home last night, I smelled what I thought to be burning. Cue me and the missus frantically running around, turning the mains off, sniffing sockets and cable routes for fifteen minutes only to then realise that the house next door was cooking curry and the smell had wafted through the kitchen window!
My wiring was completely fine but I wouldn't like to know about the state of my neighbours bowels this morning! That was the most acrid smelling curry I have ever encountered and not too disimilar to burning plastic!
God only knows what it must have tasted like!
