mono taps without pop up waste

Hi - probably a daft question but here goes.

Can you get mono taps for basins wiht one tap hole that don't have a pop up waste lever on them? We want the push waste so we are wondering if we have to avoid mono taps with the pop up waste lever on them.

Quick answer is "yes" although the choice is limited.

Just buy a normal mono and don't install the pop up mechanism, the up n down rod usually goes thru a hole in the back of the tap, the hole is usually so small as not to be noticed.

Will but the "on sale" tap i've seen even though we don't want the pop up waste part
