INSTALLING DOUBLE OVEN
Reply with quote Thanks

Have just installed De Dietrich double electric oven. Would appear to have installed correctly because when main fuse switch is pressed on then the top oven, fan, light etc, powers on. Alas nothing happening with main bottom oven and digital display not showing anything which its supposed to when first switched on. Any ideas?

If you have supply at it's main terminals call the manufacturer as its under warranty and anything else you do will invalidate it.

There may be two LIVE terminals where the cable is connected to the oven. LIVE 1 LIVE 2 NEUTRAL and EARTH

For a UK single phase supply the two LIVEs need to be connected. A horse shoe or "U" shaped link may have been provided.

Look at the installation instructions to see if this is the case with your oven.
