I have a Bosch Worcester Greenstar 24i junior.

Central heating is working fine, but not hot water. It is luke warm. I have diagnosed fault as the Diverter Valve Assembly. What it does not tell me in my manual is how to drain the boiler so I can replace the part.

I would appreciate your help with this.

Thanks,
Kev

The boiler comes fitted with a full bore drain valve that you attach a hose to and twist to open. This IS in the manual.

Why do you think it's the diverter?

I would seriously warn you not to change the diverter when you are not clearly not a competent boiler engineer.

Thanks for your help. My other half has just reminded me that we are still under guarantee, so someone is coming tomorrow.

Thanks,

Thats very astute of her!

Tell us what it turns out to be!

More likely to be a sensor or blocked heat exchanger ( not really covered by warrantee but Worcester do usually change them free once and advise you to get it power flushed).
