Hi All,
I have some outside lights that I would like to wire up on a night sensor that will come on when it goes dark. I am in South Africa. I have 2 wire that are coming to the lights, a Red and a Black. I have the Night sensor unit and there are 3 wire from it, L (I assume LIVE and for the red), N (I assume neutral) and a LO (don't have a clue what this is). Can someone help me to wire this, when I do it they don't come on. I have check the wiring and the lights work fine if I just take out the unit. Richard |

LO is short for hello
Its only a guess but LO is Liight Out
your sensor will need as you say Live and Neutral for it to operate
the Lights will also need a neutral, how ever you connect the lights live to the LO from the light sensor
Please note this is how it is done in the UK
and the sensor looks like
