My washing machine has stopped part way through the cycle. The door lock LED is on and the rinse LED is flashing but nothing is happening. Have unplugged the machine in the hope it would reset itself but still have had no joy. There doesn't appear to be a blockage. Any ideas would be extremely helpful.

..also just emptied the machine of water and tried it again. Filled up with water then stopped and made a faint sound like a kettle heating up. Help
Pump blocked.

Drained the water out and checked the pump but found no blockage. Seemed to work better although I had to put it on to spin again at the end of the cycle.
