Hi guys,

I have this boiler installed for dhw only at present so no stat is installed. I want to add radiators soon so need some type of stat to call for heat. The worcester ones have been mentioned to me by the guys that fitted it which plug in the front with a wireless stat fitted elsewhere. It's good but a bit overkill for what i need and pricey.

Could a simple wired stat be installed such as this one http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?cId=102632&ts=22246&id=53729

Thanks for your advice
Andy

Thats just a stat you will need a clock as well and you will have to run cable. The wb dt20 will do all this and control the preheat on your boiler for £120 not that expensive really.

Come on Andy, £120+ for a stat and programmer, no electrician required, DIY.

Its the dogs gooneards ;)

Lol!

So if i bought the dt20. Could i then wire in a stat such as the one linked to from screwfix?

or would i need all worcester components?

That would cost me 70ish then.

Is that feasible?

The DT20RF is a stat and progammer, no wiring needed

oh right when i searched for dt20 it just mentioned a programmer. nothing about a stat!

I think i'm gonna go with the DT10RF Digistat Programmer

Should this be all i need? Does it literally plug into the boiler?

Sorry for daft questions but appreciate answers!

Yeah the DT10 is the same with less features, still plug and play ;)

PS, nice choice in boiler:cool:

Thanks, had two great guys fit it. Genuinely honest and friendly people. Recommend them to anyone! ;)

Are the extra features any good, what are they?
