I have a gloworm swiftflow combi boiler, when the heating side is running it as started to make a sound like running water. I have been tracking down a hidden leak for a few weeks and have had to keep topping up the system until I found it and there is no air in the rads thanks for your help Andy icon_confused.gif

If the boiler makes a sound like running water then it sounds as if the auto air vent is not working properly.

I think thats inside the combustion chamber and should really only be accessed by a CORGI.

You do need to find the leak before the system gets badly sludged up.

Have you inspected the PRV vent?

Tony
