I have a gloworm swiftflow combi boiler, when the heating side is running it as started to make a sound like running water. I have been tracking down a hidden leak for a few weeks and have had to keep topping up the system until I found it and there is no air in the rads thanks for your help Andy

If the boiler makes a sound like running water then it sounds as if the auto air vent is not working properly.

I think thats inside the combustion chamber and should really only be accessed by a CORGI.

You do need to find the leak before the system gets badly sludged up.

Have you inspected the PRV vent?

Tony

Hi tony sorted the leak and i've replaced the pressure saftey valve . Ive had a look at the automatic air vent and it does look a bit furred up :)
