Just received a new washing machine this morning and it doesn\\\'t appear to be working properly. I\\\'ve set it up for a 40 degree wash - all the lights come on - it starts taking in water then...nothing - apart from a wee noise every 10 secs or so lasting for around 10 secs (maybe water heating up). But I leave it alone, running for ages ( well over an hour now) and it doesn\\\'t do much else. The drum hasn\\\'t moved once. It\\\'s all hooked up fine. Checked water hose, checked that door shut properly, and as I say all the lights are coming on as normal. What is going on??? I have piles of washing needing done - been without one for days! Help!!!

have you removed the carriage bolts on back of machine
