I have recently bought an old house which already has foam draught proofing around the internal doors. This has cracked over the years and I need to remove before applying fresh. Could anyone let me know the best way to remove old draught proofing. |

I suppose you need something to dissolve the adhesive once you have pulled a s much of as you can.
White spirit may help. |

Pull it off, the best you can..... and buy a can of sticky label remover.... Best if found comes in an areosol format.... and it smells of Oranges...
Might be an idea to try a small area first, just incase it strips the paint... |

a lot of adhesives will dissolve either in white spirit, or in meths. both are cheap. |
