how do you attach concrete fence posts to a house? can i drill into the post or is there some kind of bracket available? if i dig down 2ft will i hit the house foundations? |

If it is a fence or gate post, it is more usual to fix a wooden post to the wall when the fence reaches the housel. It need not go all the way to the ground, this will prevent it going rotten so soon. |

you need a concrete wall plate. this is a half thickness post, which is also smaller in height. They come with pre-drilled holes in and are rawlbolted to the wall __________________ have grace to accept what cant be changed, strength to change what can, wisdom to see the difference |

each to their own! i still prefer timber. he asked ho it was attached so i told him! i do put up plenty of concrete posts for customers. still think they look crap though! __________________ have grace to accept what cant be changed, strength to change what can, wisdom to see the difference |
