Bosch Classixx Dishwasher Please Please Help

Hi,

I am in need of some help regarding my dishwasher, had it a few years now with no problems until a few days ago, the water is not hot anymore which means dirty dishes and a cycle that should take an hour and a half is going on for about 3 hours then it doesnt go onto a dry cycle, any ideas what this could be? Need to sort it straightaway as we a family of 6 and always loads of dirty dishes!

Sounds like the element has broken. Happened to my mums dishwasher.

After getting an electrician to come diagnose, buy the part (two weeks wait), then fit it, it cost nearly £300 in the end. The machine only cost £250 to begin with.

In the mean time, why not kick it back old school and wash up by hand.

I have been washing by hand but it takes forever! I think I may be cheaper to buy a new dishwasher rather than buying and fitting a new element.
