Hi All

I have a Worchester 35CDi Combi which needs constant resetting. I have had it serviced by a professional and still it causes me problems. Can anyone furnish me with an answer to this annoying problem. It is three years old by the way.

Do you mean RED light on front panel flashing slowly (once per second), cleared by presing Reset button on panel.
If so, when / how often does it appear?
Otherwise - explain more.

Sorry, yes that is the one. It seems that I am resetting it every 15 to 20 minutes at times however, this isn't all the time. There doesn't appear to be any pattern to this occurring.

Also I have discovered that the pump continues to run even after it has been switched off whether automatically or manually but, this isn't each and every time.

Having discovered that some of my radiators are cold I will bleed them and see if that makes any difference.

Thanks for your quick response to date.

Regards

Othalian

The slow flash of the CH light means burner lockout and all the compoments that could produce this fault are dificult to test, gas valve flame senser etc, you would be best off getting Wircester to look at at .The pump is supposed to run on to cool the boiler down when the gas to water heat ex is hot, if the heating has not been on for around 30 days it will use the fan moore to cool down (saves warming up a rad in the summer )
