Pipes for pedastal basin

We have recently re-tiled the bathroom and tried to put the sink back, unfortunatly the tiles are thicker and the pipes to not fit along the wall and up behind the pedastal of the sink...does anyone have any ideas???

are they existing pipes or new ?
why don't they fit behind pedistal they should do.
