Hey guys just a quick question, dont want to blow myself up
Im wiring a spotlight for a cabinet and having a switch on the interior, the switch is marked L1,L2 & Common.
Im using regular 2 core wire, brown & blue from the transformer into the switch and from the switch into a three pin plug
just wondering what terminals i wire into
thanks very much in advance guys

blue should go straight through, use terminal block if nessacery to join it.

one brown goes to com and the other to L1, doesn't matter which way round.

If either the switch or the box is metal then an earth will be required.

When using flex with accessories designed for fixed wiring make sure you do a good job of restraining it.

^^ Wow thanks very much, it worked first time, i wouldn't have had a clue how to do it. this forum rules having people like yourself around
much obliged ;)
