I've just bought a few bags of general purpose concrete (just add water) from the local DIY store.
I learned a few things about them and I thought I would pass on a couple of tips for other DIYers:
1. Always use the complete bag in one go. Don't make the mistake of using a partial bag. The mixture ratio is only accurate for the whole bag, so if you use only a couple of shovels worth, you won't know if the ratio is correct. Unles you have an eye for this, of course.
2. A standard wheelbarrow is the ideal size for mixing 1 bag.
Just thought this might be useful to someone.....
