It just switched off while cooking dinner, and wouldn\\\'t switch on again. An hour later it beeped, and I could turn it on. Turning on a ring made it fail again. If I lift up the hob from the front, it beeps. Once it allowed me to turn it on again. What it the nature of the safety switch - I guess it is coming into play...
