Baxi 105e Instant diverter valve?

Hi
my Baxi 105e instant is only delivering slightly warm water. also with DWH preheat switched on, the radiators warm up. I fond them all hot at 3am!

When a hot tap is switched on the boiler ignites, the DWH neon comes on and stays on until the tap is turned off, so I'm guessing the

I'm guessing it's the diverter valve head - any thoughts?

Can I test this component? Is it repairable or a throw away item?

Remove the diverter valve motor and see if its wet or rusty at the bottom caused by water leaking from the gland.

You can test them if you are competent!

Mains from centre pin to each of the outer tags in turn should cause it to motor to the next position.

By presetting it to the motor pin out then you can test the boiler in each diverter position by fitting/removing the unconnected motor.

I need to get some dismantling fluid as the retaining spring clip is rusted in so I can't get the head off - maybe what's stopped the valve moving.

I need to get someone in to fix this - the spring clip snapped off so the valve head is now stuck in place. Any recommendations for a good fitter in the L39 area?

It will need a diverter valve and motor might be cheaper getting baxi to repair it on fixed fee basis, in the end it leaks into the motor and blows the fuse also.[wiki][/wiki]

Call in Heateam as you'll probably need an expansion vessel as well!

Thanks for the replies - I'll call them in. Been an expensive month as 3 weeks ago I put a new circuit board in to fix the "fan or flue" problem.
