Washing machine and Dishwasher wastes.

Hi

Do I need to put in an S-bend trap to connect the dishwasher and washing machine wastes to the waste pipe heading outside? Its a seperate waste pipe from the sink one, but both tee-in at the gully trap outside.

Thot when theres the gully trap outside they could just tee straight onto pipe?

you must still fit a trap with a 75mm seal.

Just wondering why I have to fit a trap and what benefit will it do when its going out to the gully trap outside anyway?

You are likely to smell the aroma of the gully without a trap and you won't be popular with the missus.
