Ferroli combi boiler problems

Hi anyone help?....The boiler works fine with central heating but if you run the hot water it works for a few seconds and then goes cold, and then back hot agin after a short time...it's driving me mad.

Sounds like scale in the secondery heat exchanger.

F24....I think, there's no other numbers on it and it's been here since we moved in so not entirely sure

when you run hot water on full, does the boiler go on and off? if so probably carp in h/e
