Semi pedestal and pop up waste to fit

Hi all, have bought basin with semi ped, no instructions just some fittings and some springs, can anyone explain in detail (simple detail

) how on earth i fit this to the basin, also the same applies to the pop up waste supplied with the mono hole tap, no instructions again, a diagram of both would be fantastic if possible

loop end of spring fits over basin hanger bollt, secured with nut and washer.
unscrew plastic sleeve to stop.
offer up semi ped, insert hook end of springs, tighten with plastic sleeves

do you have two springs with a loop and hook? well the plastic sleeve over spring, turn anticlockwise as far as you can

Have the spring with hooks but don't seem to have a sleeve, where would this sleeve go on the spring and what would it look like
