Hello

Sorry to asking another question on this subject.
I have searched the site but still confused!

I just want to paint my newly plastered bathroom ceiling.

What type and make of emulsion should I use?

I have read that vinyl silk gives a high durable sheen finish that is good for rooms that are subject to high moisture, i.e bathrooms - is this correct?

thanks for your time.

The first thing to do is give it a mist coat.
Then if a manufacture says xyz paint is good for abc, believe what they are saying.
They spend £m on development & testing.

The mist coat is important but vinyl silk looks awful on new plaster

Vinyl matt is fine if the roon is reasonably ventilated..if got soft sheen on mine over supaglypta wallpaper...and thats with two teenager daughters who dont know the difference between having a shower or a steam bath!
