Pump not tuning - Grundfos

Noticed heating not working - pump made high pitch noise and sounded like it stopped.

Unscrewed from plate to find it not rotating.. tried to turn with screwdriver and it started to spin but then ground to a halt. and is now almost to tight to turn.

Is there anything I can do here or does it sound like its time for a new pump!

Sounds like you are correct and it is time for a new pump. They're not that expensive and easy to fit IF the isolating valves work and dont leak afterwards

Sounds like your pump was killed by lack of water. Make sure that problem is solved as well
