I have the huge old cast iron pipes, one with a plastic cap, which is currently ejecting all the water, waste etc of my five person household onto my dirt floor basement. I have a blockage, for sure. The water that doesn\\\'t shoot stops about six inches from where the pipe goes underground. A pipe snake isn\\\'t doing a thing. It\\\'s Sunday, so no plumber either. And my potential in-laws are coming. Any ideas? |

have you looked for a rodding point (you may call them "pipe snaking" points out there), or inspection chamber outside. Putting your pipe snake down from this end is likely to solve the problem.
Warning, don't wear your best suit when doing this job. |
