Not an easy job, but if you use a garden hoe instead of a scraper, you can work from the floor instead of a ladder and you remove from a larger area. icon_wink.gif

Yes, these gardening tools can be a marvelous addition to the toolbox. My favourite method for removing stuborn Vinyl wall paper:

Go over the walls with a power sander (using nice course stuff).
Spray the walls with a garden hose.
(surprisingly enough you get less water on the floor than using the sponge and bucket technique)
Leave to stand for 20 minutes.
Strip the walls using the edge of an old plastering float.
(it comes of really easy.)
Clear up the floor with a garden rake!

Get the wife to put up new wall paper
(She chose it, she can hang it) icon_smile.gif
