Hi there,

I have a small bathroom in a terrace house and have a problem with the paint on the ceiling peeling off. This is due to steam coming off the electric shower.

I have an extractor fan and when i leave the window open at all times it isnt a problem. However my flatmate insists on closing the window and condensation bulids up and teh paint starts peeling.

Is there a water resistant paint that will prevent this happening or how do i get around it??

Thanks in advance

Sean

Acrylic eggshell should do a job for you..problem is though youll end up with mould forming with too much condensation.

Cheers for that.

So should i just suffer the peeling ceiling?? Dont like the sound of mould!!!!

It will be ok as long as you keep the room well venitlated and get the person to open a door or window afterwards
