Hi all, hope you can help!

Can you fix a broken trim/beading on a upvc door or does the door panel have to be replaced?

There are 4 rectangles on the actual door and the frame of one of them has broken. Is it fixable?

Thanks

Thanks for that. I was told the whole door panel would have to be replaced. Is it possible to fill in the door with a filler of some sort?

Can you post a picture of the damaged area, as its unclear whether its the beading, the panel or the frame thats damaged.

There are UPVC repair products, but specialist knowledge in their application is needed.

i agree. need to see a photo.

door panels are usually a 1 piece moulded insert, that are removed by teasing out the beads or gaskets from around the fixing perimeter.

Its the panel that needs replacing, as the mouldings are part of the panel.

Details above on how to remove it, but you'll need to source a replacement first. Try local UPVC installers/repairers to see if they can supply a panel, and get them to provide a supply only, and fitted price.
