Ideal FF230 Gas Boiler - No pilot light

Thank you for the response.

My knowledge in things like this is like none (bless me :( ).

So far I have only gone by what the plumber/Corgi engineer guy did the last time I called someone out to take a look at this same boiler. That time,k the pilot light used to come on and off at intervals causing a disruption in the supply of heating and hot water.

This time though, the pilot light will not even come on at all. I hear the initial clicks or sparks that you hear when the boiler comes on but it doesn't burn on and so no hot water and no heating.

Any more contribution from you great minds of experience will truly warm up what's left of my weekend.

Thank you for the diagnosis. I had an engineer come round to have a look at the boiler earlier today. The diagnosis is that the fan is damaged.

I have had it replaced and warmth and hot water is back.

Thans once again.
