waterproof ink

can anyone help i laid my pen on my cream coloured material settee without the top on.(Stupid - I know)

It was only a small mark but when I tried to remove it with the famous 1001 it spread.

To my horror on examining the pen I see it contains waterproof ink.

remove covers and dye them black?

Some sofas (notably IKEA ones) have covers available separately.

Ironmongers are rare nowadays, but they usually have some specialist stain removing chemicals, one of them may help.
