hi all we are in the middle of doing up our house which we bought in november.

so far we have done the following...........

new sink in kitchen
new bath and taps in bathroom
moved shower from one wall to another.

now our hot water pressure is rubbish

the cold taps will blow your hands off if opened up fully but the hot tap in the bathroom and kitchen barley gives a trickle.

when the hot tap in the bathroom sink is on and then you turn the nath hot tap on the flow from the sink one all but stops??

also the shower is the same, nice presure on cold settings but turned up to warm it slows right down???

my boiler is a potterton envoy condesing one and i have triton jade shower(8.5 kw)

any ideas on what i can do to sort it out??

cheers

steve

unbalanced hot and cold. taps are probably mains taps and your hot presumably comes of a cyl.

Electric shower is separate from the rest, hence it works okay.
Could be that you have the bathroom plumbed in wrong, or bought the wrong gear, or both.
