Had a toaster trip my mains switch whilst the heating was running. Reset the switch but the boiler wont fire up any more. I reset the time on the timer and the on/off times for the heating and when on the "Twice" or "Once" setting the lights on the timer don't show as on, if I set it to continuous or Hit the advance button, the red lights come on to show it's active but the boiler and pump still don't do anything :( Is there likely to be an internal fuse somewhere or a reset switch that needs hitting on the boiler?

Sounds like the timer may have had it.

You need to test the electrics with a multimeter to find where it is failing, assuming you are comfortable working with 240V live

Thanks for the reply but it's started working again, left it running in "dead mode" and it came back on after about ten mins. Guess it may have some kind of timer to prevent immediate startup after a power cut in order to prevent damage?
