Hi,

I\\\'ve just purchase a house and have decided we need to move the kitchen. This is a good 3m from the old kitchen sink waste....and I\\\'ve read (on this website) the max waste pipe length is 2.4 meters.

Does anyone know how long I can have this pipe and the angle of the pipe?

I really don\\\'t want a pipe showing too much on the front of the house. (it\\\'s a little cottage with great frontage and I don\\\'t fancy lots of pipes running along the front.

Thanks in advance,
Alicia.

You can fit 40mm waste pipe up to 3 metres, any longer and you need to fit an anti vac trap or an air admitance valve. Ask your local plumbers merchants to show you what you need.
A drop of 10 mm per metre should be sufficient but the regular guys will give correct gradient I'm sure as I cannot remember

Thanks Bahco,

I really appreciate the info. saves me a lot of time and worry.

Thanks again.

Alicia.
