Hi to all you experts out there, im looking for advice.. I have a Baxi 105 HE about 2 years old, it is noisy/gurgling only in pre heat mode. Can i bleed that circuit? It used to be quiet apart from hearing boiler kick in, possibly got air boiler in when i cleaned magnetic filter? though fairly certain did not. Any help appreciated.

Baxpoti, why not tell him about the modified EXV with an air bleed point?

Please do tell me guys if you think it will help, cheers. That would make sense as its only on preheat that its noisey.

Thanks for that, I think maybe the expansion vessel needs charging/Pressure
guage fault. Pressure goes from .5 cold to over 3 bars when heating, there is no rv lift or discharge, the boiler appears to be working as it should. Or is this an indication that there is no room for expansion? and pressure is the only answer. I work in a power station so i am just suss about the guage.
Where is the schrader v/v on a 105HE.? lots to go on cheers

Thanks guys, now repressurized exp vessel and quiet as mouse even on preheat, cheers.

what pressure do you put it to and can some one explain the procedure to me to make sure i get it 100% right, cheers simon
