Hi

Can anyone help with a problem I've just discovered on my Worcester 28CDi?

I recently turned the Central Heating back on but nothing happens? I press the reset button and the light then just flashes every second. According to the manual this suggests "ignition lockout" and pressing the reset button should sort it out.

When I press the reset, the light stops flashing but still the CH won't come on? The hot water is absolutely fine and fires the burner every time.

There is no thermosat in any of the rooms and several of the radiators throughout the house are on.

Does anyone know if there is a way to sort out this ignition lockout or do I need an engineer?!

Many thanks in advance!

Richard

Cant be an igniton fault if it fires up on hot water, check if the pin on the end of the diverter valve is moving in and out when turning the hot tap on and off, if the pin is stuck out and keeping the microswitch activated that may be the problem, if it is you either need the diverter valve replacing or rebuilding with a seal and diaphram kit. If not god knows and phone a boiler techi.
