kitchen wiring

Hello,

Is it within the regs to have an oven connected to a switch via one wire only 2.5mm in a kitchen circuit.

I notice that the sockets have been wired with a wire going to them and one coming out so i am assuming that is a ring. But then I have a switch connected to one of these sockets which then extends via one wire only to the socket in a unit which is used for the electric oven (no hob).

Is it within regs?

Yes.

If the oven is rated at 13A or less and the 'wire' is also 2.5mm, then it sounds like it's within Regs.
