Can someone help please?

The fault is that the boiler stops working completely and the "flame" and the "flue" neon lights flash. This problem is resolved if I reset the boiler with the dial, but will happen every few days. Any ideas?

I have just had a new heat exchanger put in and this is now fixed, but could the 'fixing' of the H/E caused my new problem????

Thanks

Ian

It sounds as if its a flame detection fault.

Its possible that a connector was disturbed during the changing of the secondary heat exchanger.

Call him back!

Could also be on its way to the common pcb failure, on this blr.

Hopefully the engineer has disturbed something as the timing seems very convenient. With a bit of luck, the engineer wil be coming back on Friday.......
