Planning to convert part of an old extension into a shower room, but not planning to have a WC....

There is water in this part of the building, there used to be a washing machine in there so there is a 40mm waste pipe going through the wall on travelling through 90 degrees and into the ground, have not dug this up but assume it is going into the main drain.

My question is as the title, I am assuming as it would fall under 'change of use' this would be notifiable? Was not sure if the fact that I am not adding a WC would mean that I do not have to?

Many thanks in advance

The conversion itself would not be controlled works, but any electric alterations/additions may require an application.

only major circuit additions/alterations fall under part p scrutiny.

additions to existing circuits don't.

probably.
