Unvented direct hot water cylinder installed but customer wants a towel rail fitted! Can this be done with current cylinder?

In the installation manual it does state that you should not install any heating admitters but have notice that some old houses do have the towel rail on the hot water connection/run!?

Any ideas?

Regards

Must towel rails are connected to the primary circuit, which you do not have, however what you can do is connect it into an secondary circuit, Provided the towel rail is brass or copper

No more unvented questions please.

Coward

I suppose in response to the OPs question point out that, it would be an expensive way to run an towel rail, whereas an electric one would be the obvious choice

Heard somewhere that unvented can be dangerous can anyone confirm this.    soz could not resist

As the towel rail would be on the other side of the wall from where the cylinder is there would hardly be any pipe work, but would I need to install a pump?

Ps thanks for the responses so far!

who's kev and does he know about towel rails then

the rail will get hot when you run the tap, pumps for domestic cost a fourtune, bronze heads ;)

mind it will take a long time to dry a towel
