Hi guys,

I have recently had my consivertary double glazed as this was the only part of the house that hadnt been done.

The other nite I noticed that the 4 plastic clip on battons that hold the glazed units in place are on the outside where as the rest of the house has they are on the inside.

Surely a theif could easily remove these and gain access to the property?

I wanted to ask you guys before if this is right or not before I phone up the company that installed it,

Thanks
Paul

On some installs I have seen the plastic bars/trims are fitted to the outside but the fitting of the rubber gasket on the inside makes them impossible to remove.

I would check with your installer to be sure.

There are internal and external glazed frames

If the frames are externally glazed, then a foam strip with adhesive strip prevents the glass unit being removed easily
