Hi
I would appreciate some advice on wether I can install a new PIR light off an existing 1.5mm cable. Or does it need a new cable straight back to CU.
My supply comes straight from a light swith up to my kitchen mains voltage down light and stops at the last down light. can I extend it from there? there are no seperate cables to the down light just the one from the switch.

if you did that it would only come on with the kitchen light.

have a look in the sticky section to see how it should be done

Hello.

If you 'wire' from the last light you may end up with the new outside light only working when you switch your 'other' lights on !!! :(

Do you know if you have a permanent live at the first light perhaps ?
