Carpet fitting to concrete floor

Hi

What is the recomnded way of fitting carpet to a room with a concrete floor.

In the past I've seen gripper rod glued/nailed to the concrete - other times just spray adhesive used - any recomendations?

"glue" no more nails, sticks like sh*t (honest, thats what its called)

Depends on what carpet your putting down, form back and felt back with no underlay will be sprayed straight down. If your having a decent carpet and underlay then the gripper should be de-nailed, cut into 6 inch pieces and glued down with no-nails type glue, 6mm from the wall and ideally left for 24hrs.
are you fitting the carpet yourself? if not leave it to the carpet fitters, nothing worse than wrongly fitted gripper, it effects the whole look and fit of the carpet
