i have two problems, both which make my home insurance invalid- need help!

first is that the downstairs toilet window has no handle on it at all. the previous owner had removed it and it doesnt stay shut. its just pushed to. i would like to fit a handle and lock to it without replacing the whole window.
is this possible?
how would i do it?

the second problem is that none of my windows have locks. the handles have a push button to open them, but thats it.
is there a cheap and easy way to fix this?
can i just replace the handles?

thanks for your help
Charlotte

edit: should have added they are upvc windows

A push button is a locking handle of sorts - check the wording of the policy.

PVCu systems have come and gone over the years, but also there are a few standard handle types. Yes a picture would be good - if the windows are the same around the house, then a picture of a handle on another window together with one of the frame of the missing handle.

If need be, key locking handles are commonly available
