Hi

Wondered if anyone could offer any advice on an intermittent fault on my Worcester Bosch CDi boiler that has now become permanent! No hot water from taps and no pilot light showing. Control panel is showing no light in the mains electricity indicator, although when this problem has occured in the past this light has come back on after a day or so and hot water come back eventually. No obvious problems with electricity at fuse box and wondered if anyone could advise on what the likely problem was and what the best way to sort it would be. Currently been without hot water for several days and am having problems getting any plumbers out to look at Worcester boilers.

Many thanks

Joe

Could be, front panel switch, cable harness, connector to board, solder joint on board, other component on board - and there's a fuse on board.

Can't condone testng withthe power on but that's what I'd do - probe with a meter to see the 230v has got where it should be then move things to see if it goes off. Or ON, if it's dead. Be careful!

Give worcester a ring they do a fixed price repair system where they will replace any parts at no extra cost ,except heat exchangers
